I’d like to share a few things that may serve to motivate you and help you to realize, plan for, and fulfill your goals in the new year.

Podcasts –

“hey, girl. the podcast.” Episode 10: Joanna on Wellness

I highly recommend tuning into the “hey, girl.” podcast if you don’t already. The podcast is hosted by Alex Elle and explores a variety of topics including love, loss and self-care. As you may have already inferred from the title, her guests are women and they come from different walks of life. The conversations are always interesting and thought-provoking. In this particular episode, Alex interviews Joanna, a wellness coach who quit a high-paying job to follow her dreams. They talk about finding your purpose, creating a feasible exit strategy, and much more. If you are planning to start a business or follow your passions in the new year, you have to listen to Joanna’s story.

“The Lavendaire Lifestyle” Episode LL 060: Living a Full Life with Less w/ Courtney Carver

If your goals include down-sizing for a happier and simpler life, listening to this podcast episode is a must. Courtney Carver, who is the founder of bemorewithless.com, talks about how a major health development influenced her decision to live a simpler lifestyle. The conversation explores minimalism and how to make it work for you as well as Project 333. I found it to be a very inspirational talk.

Pick Up Limes – Becoming a Morning Person

If your goals include becoming a more productive individual, this YouTuber’s video will show you how to wake up earlier. Waking up earlier enables you to get more out of your day, but can be very hard to do. Sadia of Pick Up Limes offers invaluable tips and tricks for waking up earlier as well as a downloadable PDF guide to help you work through the steps she gives.

Books –

20 Something 20 Everything by Christine Hassler

A woman’s early twenties can be a difficult time. We’re constantly soul searching, constantly comparing, and constantly in search of what we hope will give our lives meaning. This book addresses this with helpful exercises, relatable stories, and necessary advice. I am still working through the book, but I’ve found it to be an eye-opening experience and therefore am recommending it to you.

It is my hope that you find these things as useful as I have and are able to better recognize and fulfill your personal goals.
