First and foremost, I’ve noticed a few new subscribers and I want to thank you guys and welcome y’all to this little blog family!

#Weekendcoffeeshare is a writing prompt that allows bloggers to create a more personal space aside from the curated content that is usually posted. This prompt facilitates a virtual coffee date between the blogger and the reader and allows for unadulterated realness. These conversations are raw and may not always make perfect sense to everyone. I discovered this hashtag (kinda late) and thought it would be the perfect addition to this blog seeing as how I’ve needed to get some things off my chest. 5 Things They Don’t Tell You About Postpartum

I’m currently 13 weeks postpartum which means two things. First, my precious little boy is three months old! Watching him grow has been so interesting and so fulfilling all at once. (As I write this, he’s discovering that the hand he shoves in his mouth 24/7 is actually his.) Secondly, I feel as though I’ve experienced enough of “the postpartum experience” to give my two cents. Before we continue, my list is full of TMIs and the like, so if that kind of thing grosses you out or makes you feel uncomfortable, stop reading now.
